Demopolis and Linden fire departments receive donations from WoodmenLife

Demopolis, AL (April 28, 2021) WoodmenLife chapters across the country are participating in the Equipping Our Hometown Heroes campaign and giving back to First Responder organizations in their hometowns. Linden Chapter 672 recently donated $500 to the Demopolis Fire Department and the Linden Fire Department to assist with purchasing a new turnout gear for the firemen.

“This donation is WoodmenLife’s way of letting First Responders know how appreciated they are,” said Byron Vice, Secretary of Linden Chapter 672. “It is important that we show our support.”

WoodmenLife members are committed to supporting our communities and local organizations like the Demopolis Fire Department. Our First Responders sacrifice so much every day to protect our hometowns. The Linden Chapter wants to ensure the Demopolis Fire Department knows their efforts are greatly appreciated.

WoodmenLife was founded in 1890 as a not-for-profit. The organization gives back to its

members across the country, who join together in a shared commitment to family, community and country. With a legacy of financial stability, WoodmenLife offers quality life insurance and retirement products. A person becomes a member when they purchase a WoodmenLife product.
